Not a lot to report but we have heard from insurance. We are hoping to start demolition of the first and second floors in the next couple of weeks. We will post pictures and keep you all updated.

We are looking at another location to have the “Man Cave” auction that was scheduled for the evening of the fire so check back often. We do have some online and offsite auctions scheduled as well. All auctions are under the current auctions link at http://www.claypotterauction.com

We have a collectors liquidation estate auction this Sat. at 9:00am! The auction will be held in Van Alstyne. All the details, address etc.. can be found under the current auctions link. All items must be paid for the day of the auction! Items must be picked up the same day unless arrangements are made ahead of time. 

There will be no shipping of any items! 

Preview is 3:00 – 5:00 pm today. The location is 14331 CR 550 Farmersville, Tx 75442. Pick up times Monday morning and Tuesday evening. View the auction details under the current auctions link on the website. Call Clay if you have any questions.

We have an Online Farmersville Estate Auction ending tomorrow (Sunday) at 7:00pm. Come preview all items tomorrow from 3pm to 5pm. Lots of great items, and bidding starts at a penny. Also, you can preview photos of the LIVE Auction coming next Saturday the 18th, in Van Alstyne.

We were hoping to have more information to report by now but we are still waiting on insurance. Our claim has been turned over to a large claims adjuster. There’s more damage than initially thought. 

The building will be out of commission for a couple of months. We are doing what we can for now as far as clean up. We are in the process of cleaning all the consignment items that were in the building at the time of the fire. We are storing these items and hope to have this auction asap. The auction house is temporarily out of service due to the fire in downtown Farmersville on Saturday May 28th. (fire updates posted below) We do have two offsite Live Auctions and an offsite Online Auction running now.

The offsite Online Auction is an Estate/Moving Auction running now and will start closing Sunday June 12th at 7:00pm.

We have an offsite Live Collectors/Estate Liquidation Auction Saturday June 18th at 9:00am in Van Alstyne.

We also have an offsite Live Industrial Plant Liquidation Auction Saturday July 9th at 9:00am in Longview Tx.

A 3 alarm fire destroyed a row of buildings just south of the auction house. The fire did come through our windows on the south side of the building. The majority of the store (on the mezzanine level) is gone. There’s smoke, water and fire damage in the concession area, front and back office, and the room behind the office. We are meeting with insurance inspector’s tomorrow and will know more at that time. Clay has been at the building some trying to let it air out but no one is allowed in the building at this time.

Many of you have asked about the damage and we’re still not certain at this time but here are a few a pictures of the store area.

We are so grateful for the hard work of many local fire departments that showed up to battle the Farmersville Main Street fire today! Farmersville, Nevada, Blue Ridge, Princeton, Caddo Mills, Josephine, & Wylie. (Hope I’m not missing anyone) We appreciate your dedication and hard work more than know!! Thank you!

We are also so grateful for all the offers to help! All the what can we do’s?  All the do you need anything’s? We love this little community we live in and we love our auction family!
